Set your sails….

These sailor pictures where originally watercolour paintings from my sketchbook, but after I had taken the photographs, I decided to publish them as black-and-white pictures. I like the sort of vintage comic touch there is to them. So, here are two scenes of a sailor’s life….
Estas imágenes de marineros eran acuarelas de mi libreta de dibujos, pero una vez sacadas las fotos, casi me gustaban mas en blanco y negro. Me parecia interesante el toque de comics vintage que tienen. Aqui tenemos dos escenas de la vida de un marinero ….
Diese Matrosenbilder waren urspruenglich farbige Aquarelle aus meinem Skizzenbuch, aber als ich die Photos hatte, fand ich die in schwarz-weiss besser. Sie erinnern mich ein bisschen an alte Comics….. Hier also 2 Szenen aus dem Alltag eines Seemanns….
