Dog portraits

Due to lockdown in Spain, there are no dog classes, and we miss them really, Lou and I… so, just to stay a little tuned, here some portraits of Lou’s classmates.

Tim, labrador, best-in-class obedience star
Thor, innocent and sweet Bully
Orion, Beauceron, the prodigy
Ariel, Lab, the nervous princess
and of course Lou, my absolute favorite! 🥰

You are my mirror

The typical tool of the jester is a mirror. He makes us look at ourselves from outside – and often it is because of this shift of perspective that we see this until the very moment so horribly serious situation in a completely new – and often times – quite funny way…. that’s why today I send you a jester 😉

I decided to do some drawing and experiments in my sketchbook, and started a series called “a picture a day” Here’s one of the fist drawings with water colors, ink  and wax ….

Sergeant Pepper’s Tanz

Sergeant Pepper joined the parade and shows off with his unique dancing style. With the odd ball’s company, there’s no lonely heart club any more 😉

It’s 5pm in Otter Village…grab a cup of tea and have a look!

Today I share some paintings of my sketchbook with you, one of them is “Tea time in Otter Village”. When Manu, a friend of mine told me that her favorite animals are sea otters and asked me to do an otter painting for her, I kind of discovered these fun furry cuties, with their surprised looking faces and their cool and relaxed lifestyle – or floatstyle?
“Tea time” is acrylic paint on sketchbook paper….

Have fun – relax and take an easy float  – and don’t forget tea time! 🙂

Puppy portrait: “Remember how tiny I was when you got me?”

This tiny 2 months old sweetie will be a beagle – my friend Evelyn got him for her birthday. I decided to paint her a puppy portrait, so she remembers how little he once was ….

little beagle Tasco

His name is Tasco, and he is growing every day – very soon he won’t be a little baby any more, won’t pee in the kitchen any more, but I guess he’ll go on working on making house and  owners his own 🙂
