And who is San Isidro?
San Isidro, the saint of Spain’s capital, is celebrated every year with a series of bull fights. That inspired me to think about the bulls’ lives without bullfights – they can have a lot of fun without San Isidro, don’t you think?
Como todos los años, San Isidro se celebra con toda una serie de corridas de toro en Madrid. Y todos los años, me imagino como podría ser la vida de los toros sin San Isidro – estoy segura que podrían pasarselo genial sin tener que asistir a las corridas….
Wie jedes Jahr , wird hier in Madrid der Patron der Stadt, San Isidro, mit einer ganzen Serie von Stierkaempfen in der beruehmten plaza de toros gefeiert. Und wie jedes Jahr, stelle ich mir vor, wie diese Stiere ohne San Isidro leben wuerden – ich bin mir sicher, sie haetten eine Super-Zeit ohne diese Stierkaempfe……
Stories of insect life…..
Now in springtime they are back, humming and buzzing around: bees, mosquitos and a lot of other insects, so I decided to do some sketches about these little fellows.
Ahora en primavera están todos de vuelta, volando por el aire y de flor en flor, las abejas y también ya están los mosquitos por ahí, yendo de brazo en brazo ;-). Decidí hacer unos dibujos con acuarelas de estos pequeños animalitos.
Jetzt, im Fruehling sind sie alle wieder emsig unterwegs und brummen von Blume zu Blume, oder, im Falle von Mosquitos auch von Arm zu Arm 😉 deshalb beschloss ich, ein paar Skizzen zum Thema Insekten su machen.

Painting with your fingers
I’m still experimenting with the different drawing and painting Apps for mobile devices, such as ipad. There several intersesting ones, such as brushes app, or colorama, and combining them, you can get some really interesting results…. I show you an example:

Another little series I did recently, digitally on the ipad are some drawings of this adventurous young lady. She always takes handbag with her – just as real ladies do – and wears her high heels very bravely. For more digital drawings, have a look at my medium page
